look at your reflection
see you stare back at you
shadows rise and fall
are you happy with who you are now?
the way you hold your head as you walk?
the way your jeans hug your legs?
do you want more?
searching for a sound, that captures the feeling
turn on your ipod, put in your headphones
and escape
does it help? or just make it worse?
alone, listening to the sounds of many
i can see you and i do nothing
but turn up the volume
